Growing up Hart

I'm a new used mommy!! I have a fabulous family which consists of myself, my husband, our precious little girl and our little baby boy! We also have 2 dogs, 2 crazy cats and a pond full of Koi, Goldfish and occasional vistors like frogs and salamanders. We welcome them all to our family. The absolute most important part of our little family is our very own little "Princess Shannon and Prince Tyler". They are... "Growing up Hart".

Mid July we went to my Aunt and Uncle's place in Arroyo Grande for some little fun. Well Shannon didn't sleep well the first night and even threw up several times. This was not a good start to a vacation. Although the night was rough we were all very happy and ready to go the next day. We went out an decided to get some food somewhere we've never been. We ended up here at the Pelican Point restaurant. Not my taste, but not bad.

What a view, and named for it's many pelicans no doubt, they were flying everywhere. Shannon was in a tailspin at times trying to watch them all.

This is how to properly analyze a lemon slice.

It was a little cold and windy, but we still did our best to play in the water and draw in the sand.

Shannon fell in at one point, and she was pretty much done. Just as we got her comfortable enough to leave our side and walk in the water... BOOM! Down she went, and as you can see she came running back as fast as those little toes could dig!

We pretty much just packed it up after that and it was back to the house for a bath and a trip to the neighborhood park.

We walked the park and played on the gym's for a while before we unleashed the running fury. On to the swings for some swing'n good fun. Of course, I think I out did the little tyke on the swing sets... I'm a swing'n kind a gal!

Just look at that view behind us. She really liked this little truck rocker.

Shannon loved the little tyke area, small stuff just right for her to play on.

Just look at that face, can you say "CHEESE"!!

Plenty of time was devoted to the slides. As well as playing in the sand.

The Park also had this big grass playing field, so Shannon decided to use for it's full potential to make daddy chase her all over the place. She just ran away from him over and over...

and over...

and over again!

After an exhausting game "chase and tickle", we climbed the hill back to the house for some much needed R&R!

This was the view from our street. Absolutely gorgeous!! The next day we packed up and left. While we were on the road it seems that our chatting was just too much to take. Shannon had decided that she'd had enough, grabbed a tissue and stuffed her poor little tired ears.
