Growing up Hart

I'm a new used mommy!! I have a fabulous family which consists of myself, my husband, our precious little girl and our little baby boy! We also have 2 dogs, 2 crazy cats and a pond full of Koi, Goldfish and occasional vistors like frogs and salamanders. We welcome them all to our family. The absolute most important part of our little family is our very own little "Princess Shannon and Prince Tyler". They are... "Growing up Hart".

He's ONE!! He's ONE!! He's ONE!!

Here's proud DADDY!! Taking footage of lil' mans 1st BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Here's Ty enjoying a little pig "piggy bank" from his Auntie Barbie.
The party was at the Hart family home in North West Fresno. It's a grrrreat party yard!!
Ahhhhh!!! The most peaceful part of a party... you now that time when the kids get their party bags full o' goodies. The sound of "Hey... that one's mine! And... give that back to me, go get your own" filled the air. It really wasn't that bad.

I had lots of help opening presents and trying out Ty's toys!

Shannon and her cousin Kadence are really quite the pair.

The Party Scene

A Mother-Daughter Tea Party!
Starring from eldest to youngest:
Great Grandma- LaVonne
Grandma- Carol
Mother- Heather
Daughter- Shannon

A beautiful Day, setting and Traditional Old School Tea Party for the girlies. I was very excited and Shannon had a blast. All of the women really enjoyed themselves. The guests at our table never showed... so we got all of their Tea Party goodness! The only truly difficult thing I had to deal with was Shannon and the fabulously gorgeous... fabulously breakable... China!

She did very well... thank you very much.

A Lovely Mothers Day visit with DEVLIN!!!
He flew in to surprise our mother and we totally got her good... he was hiding in the back of my van. When I opened the back end, there he was "Here's the ice you ask Heather to bring!" It took her a few minutes to calm herself down so she could vocalize real actual full sentences. It was a good day!! Grandma Lonnie was here to visit also.

RANDOM

PUMPKIN TIME AGAIN... YEEEEEEEAH!!!

TIME TO DECORATE!

Shannon had a blast painting her pumpkins... then painting everyone else's after we were done carving ours.

This was a bracelet made with a pipe cleaner and cut felt leaves that I painted with glitter glues in a few colors, and ribbons in between.  I was really happy with the outcome!

These were the little booties to go over the shoes she wore that I  made from felt and glitter glue.

I made an anklet the same way I made the bracelet to go over the booties to help hide the shoes and give it a finished look.

Trick or Treat!

Shannon would say it like this... "Twik o Tweet!"  After saying that, she quickly followed it up with "Do you got da puppies or da kitties in they?"  That's what it sounds like anyway.  After she saw one or the other in someone's house she started asking everyone who answered the door.
Her cousin Kadence came over to go Trick or Treating with her, they love each other!
Shannon was... you guessed it!  TINKER BELL!!!  Kadence was a Sassy Cat!  Meee..ow!

TINKER BELL BIRTHDAY

Shannon loves Tinker Bell and even though these pics are up late I thought I would show you some of the happy faces we saw that day.  Of course, they are all of Shannon.  I was too focused on Tyler and making sure everyone had everything they needed to take photos of everyone else.  The ones I did manage to get were a little out of focus.

Daddy's hat

I love my daddy's hat.  Mommy says I'm cute!!

ME!! Just me... not her!

That's Mr. Dude to you!
Here I am doing my very first carrot tasting, it may not taste as good as wine, but it's still sweet!

Here I am snuggling my mommy with my toys all to myself.  See my Little Lamb?  It's really soft and cuddly and white... well, that is until I spit up all over it one day and now it's more soft, cuddly and not so white, but that's okay... I still love it!

Ah... yes, the night I was told to get out of the candy dish.  They all thought I was trying to sneak some candy, but really I was trying to give myself to some trick or treaters.  The plan was foiled!  Oh well, I 'll try again next year I guess.

Isn't this a nice picture of me?  I really like my smile in this one... very innocent and sweet!  They eat it up every time.  I get away with murder!

MEET RETORT

This is my mom's tortoise.  She has had this little guy for the better part of her life and so far, all of her children's and grand children's.  This is the first time Shannon has ever seen him.  She loves turtles and tortoises so I thought she would really enjoy him very much.  She got to pet him and to feed him, she could not have been more excited!

Fresno Fair

Can you say "CORN DOG"?

This was her first time at the fair.  She got to milk a fake cow, pet a fake horse and stuff a scare crow in the Children's Touch and Work Shop.  She had a blast!

THE BEACH SCEENE

I love a day at the beach,  however, this particular day I multi tasked like crazy!!  Multi-what?  Multi tasked... I carried a very heavy baby in a front pack for a very long period of time, I took still photos of the little urchin in the sand and feeding the birds, I also at the exact same time was videotaping her as well, that's right... both hands at once.  Then we walked the waterside researching every bubble and collecting almost every shell.  Never fear... I wasn't tired at all, what mother can ever afford to be tired?  It was a GOOD day!!

LITTLE PICASSO!!

After we went to my cousins Baby Shower, we were going to the beach and Shannon was assigned the duty of drawing mommy a picture while she waited.  When she was done and needed another paper, I looked at this one and WOW!!  She's a little Picasso!  Of course, I saved it and brought it home to put in her scrapbook for later.  Yeah, that's right, I to have a project that never gets done... but, somehow the items to put in it keep growing out of control!  Can't imagine why I don't have much time.  I'm actually taking precious time right now to update a little on my blog... for those of you who gently reminding me that I still look preggers!  On my blog that is.

Just a few.

Here is my cousin, Sarah.  This is her baby shower over on the beautiful coast!

Here's Aunt Arlene and cousin Danni holding Shannon, sorry if I didn't spell that right... I usually just call her...  something cute, but I won't post it because it's just between us.

My cousin Jennifer showing off her face talents... cute huh?  She'll be wanting to kill me when she sees these on my site.  I love you Fer Fer!!!!

Here is my sweet cousin Denise who is trying desperately trying to keep Shannon at bay from the present opening.  Poor Sarah kept getting unwanted help shall we call it.  Of course, who could blame her... she was all hopped up on the Kiddie'crack, aka 'cake'!!

Here's Gayle with little Ty.
